Barbadians have another avenue to learn about their constitutional rights and participate in the ongoing constitution reform process.

The Constitutional Reform Commission (CRC) has partnered with U-Report Barbados to create an Information Hub, which Barbadians at home and abroad may now access via WhatsApp, by sending the word “reform” to 1(246) 832-6775.

Commissioner of the Constitutional Reform Commission, Sade Jemmott, encouraged members of the public, especially young people and those in the diaspora, to learn more about their rights under the Constitution of Barbados via this new medium.

Ms. Jemmott continued: “We want people to take advantage of this opportunity as we break down and explain each and every chapter of the Constitution of Barbados via this information hub.  It is accessible to anyone with WhatsApp, at anytime and anywhere.”

Members of the public should visit the CRC’s website crcbarbados.com, and follow on its Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages @crcbarbados to gather more information on the hub.
