The Involvement of Faith-based Organisations and Traditions in National Development will be the topic of discussion next week, when the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector, hosts a consultation on Wednesday, January 11. It will be held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael.
Minister of Labour, Colin Jordan, under whose portfolio Ecclesiastical Affairs falls, will address the opening of the event at 9:15 a.m., and chair the session, which is expected to have the participation of leaders of both traditional and non-traditional faith-based organisations.
