One new positive case (a female) of COVID-19 was reported on Friday, June 4, from the 557 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
There are now 30 people in isolation.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases have reached 4,030 (1,950 females and 2,080 males) since March, last year. Forty-seven lives have been lost to the virus.
The public health laboratory has conducted a total of 172,967 tests. The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has seen 82,310 people receiving a first dose of the vaccine, and 61,178 have received their second dose and are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
