The island recorded six new positive cases of COVID-19 – two females and four males – on Thursday, April 1, from among the 664 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
Twelve people recovered and were discharged from isolation. There are 110 persons in isolation.
Barbados’ confirmed cases of COVID-19 have now moved to 3,665 – 1,763 females and 1,902 males, and 3,518 people have recovered. There have been 42 COVID-19 related deaths.
So far, the public health laboratory has conducted 142,193 tests. To date, 63,735 vaccinations – 26,342 men and 37,393 women – have been administered as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
