The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory reported seven new positive cases of COVID-19 – three females and four males – on Tuesday, April 27. They were identified from among the 317 tests conducted.
Meanwhile, nine people recovered from the virus and were discharged. There are currently 96 persons in isolation.
Since March 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 have reached 3,838 (1,870 females and 1,968 males) and 3,759 people have recovered. The number of deaths from the viral illness is 44.
To date, the public health laboratory has conducted 152,716 tests. A total of 73,808 vaccinations – 30,461 men and 43,347 women – have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
