There were 114 new COVID-19 cases, 43 males and 71 females, recorded on Monday, September 5, from the 582 tests conducted by laboratories across the island.
The cases comprised nine persons under the age of 18, and 105 who were 18 years and older.
The number of people in isolation facilities was 53, while 722 were in home isolation.
A 65-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman succumbed to the viral illness on Monday.
As at September 5, there were 546 COVID-19 related deaths.
The laboratories conducted 757,686 tests since February 2020, and recorded 101,624 COVID-19 cases (45,970 males and 55,654 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 163,346 (71.5 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 154,444 (57 per cent of the total population or 67.6 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
