There were 51 new COVID-19 cases, 18 males and 33 females, reported on Thursday, September 15, from the 323 tests conducted by laboratories across the island.
The cases comprised 10 persons under the age of 18, and 41 who were 18 years and older. The number of people in isolation facilities was 37, while 325 were in home isolation. As at September 15, there were 559 COVID-19 related deaths.
The laboratories conducted 761,396 tests since February 2020, and recorded 102,119 COVID-19 cases (46,176 males and 55,943 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 163,547 (71.6 per cent of the eligible population).
The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 154,558 (57 per cent of the total population or 67.7 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
