A 24-year old man is the latest person to be diagnosed with COVID-19.
The male visitor arrived from Jamaica on a Caribbean Airlines flight on November 14, and returned a positive result after undergoing a second test on November 16. He was asymptomatic. He was isolated and under investigation at Harrison’s Point since November 17.
The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 384 tests yesterday.
Meanwhile, no one will be released from isolation today. There are now 12 people in isolation. The number of confirmed cases now stands at 260, comprising 136 females and 124 males. There have been 241 recoveries.
To date, the laboratory has completed 44,868 tests.
