Members of the public are invited to come out to a coastal sundown walk from Long Beach, to Oistins, Christ Church, on Saturday, June 10, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The walk is being hosted by the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) as part of activities to mark Environment Month, which runs from June 1 to June 30, under the theme: Living Sustainably…Reduce Plastics Pollution to Protect our Blue Economy.
Bus transportation will be available from the Warrens Tower II, Warrens, St. Michael car park, from 2:15 p.m. Persons desirous of travelling on the buses are encouraged to visit the CZMU office, 8th Floor, Warrens Tower II, Warrens, St. Michael, to collect tickets, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Persons attending the walk are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, enclosed shoes with grip, and long pants, and bring water.
