Members of the public are reminded that the deadline for the World Intellectual Property Day 2024 Youth Video Competition is 11:59 p.m. Central Europe Time, on Sunday, March 10.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is inviting persons 18 to 35 years old (by the close of date for entries), to release their creativity in a 60 to 90-second video showcasing how an inventor, creator, entrepreneur, or local community near them is shaping a better future for all with innovation, creativity, and intellectual property (IP) rights.

The theme of the video competition is: With IP, We Can Dream of a Better Future, Turn Our Ideas into Reality and Create a World Where Everyone Thrives. Submissions may be done individually or in teams of 10 or less.

For details on the competition rules and requirements, visit https://www.wipo.int/web/ipday/2024-sdgs/index. The winner will be announced on World Intellectual Property Day, April 26.
