Barbadians will get another opportunity to benefit from financial literacy training next week, when the Financial Literacy Bureau’s satellite clinics continue at venues across the island.
On Tuesday, December 8, Costing and Pricing for Businesses will be discussed at the Valley Resource Centre, The Valley, St. George, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, December 10, Making your Money Work for You, Budgeting for your Household and Costing and Pricing for Businesses will be discussed at the Ellerton Community Centre, St. George; Emmerton Resource Centre, St. Michael; and the Gall Hill Resource Centre, Gall Hill, St. John, respectively. All sessions begin at 6:00 p.m.
The following week, Tuesday, December 15, Costing and Pricing for Businesses will be taught at the Emmerton Resource Centre, St. Michael, and Using your Credit Card Wisely will be discussed at the Alexandra School, Queen Street, St. Peter. Both sessions will run from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Also on this date, facilitators will speak on the topic: Budgeting for your Household at the Christ Church Foundation School, Church Hill, Christ Church, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, December 16, Using your Credit Card Wisely will be the topic for discussion during the clinic at Ellerton Community Centre, Ellerton, St. George. At the Frederick Smith Secondary School, Trents, St. James, Costing and Pricing for Businesses will be discussed. At the Gall Hill Resource Centre, Gall Hill, St. John, facilitators will educate persons on Using your Credit Card Wisely. All sessions will run from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
The following day, Thursday, December 17, participants will be taught how to use their credit cards during the session entitled: Using your Credit Card Wisely at the Emmerton Resource Centre, St. Michael. At the Alexandra School, Queen Street, St. Peter, the session will focus on Budgeting for your Household. Both sessions will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
At the Foundation School, Church Hill, Christ Church, the topic for the discussion will be Costing and Pricing for Businesses. That session will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
