The Barbados Museum and Historical Society’s annual Fine Craft Festival, a popular treat for Barbadians and visitors alike, will be held this Saturday, December 5, at the Museum’s headquarters, St Ann’s Garrison, St. Michael.
Entitled "An Authentic Barbadian Experience", it will run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and feature the island’s best selection of unique, handcrafted items for sale, ranging from jewellery to handbags and clothing, and from linens to handmade dolls.
Some 70 stalls will be on display at the festival and several Bajan delicacies will be offered for sale to the public.
For the young and young at heart, there will be an art corner, lucky dip, jumping tent, face painting, treasure hunts and storytelling. The Tuk Band will also provide entertainment for patrons during the day.
