Update: Parliamentary Reform Commission Meeting September 30

Young people will take the spotlight on Thursday, September 21, when the Parliamentary Reform Commission (PRC) hosts its town hall meeting at the Daphne Joseph Hackett Theatre, Queen’s Park, Constitution Road, St. Michael, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The panellists will be Barbadian Olympian Tia-Adana Belle; student of The Lodge School, Nyangie Bradshaw; youth advocate Taahir Bulbulia; member of the Youth Parliament, Daunté Harvey; and student of the Barbados Community College, Shaquani Hunte.

They will examine The Future of Barbados’ Parliament; What Do You Want From Your MPs and Your Government? What Should Parliament Deliver to Future Generations of Barbadians? and How Can the Country Give Young People a Greater Voice in National Affairs?              

Young people from across the island, including those from youth groups, fourth to sixth form students, and tertiary institution students are encouraged to attend and participate in the session.
