The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week, when its fogging programme moves into several parishes.

On Tuesday, December 1, the unit will visit St. Peter and St. James, to fog areas including Station Hill, Around the Town, Farm Road, Farm Tenantry, Battaleys, Upper Carlton, Upper Rock Dundo, Rock Dundo with Avenues and the environs.

On Wednesday, December 2, the team will be in Christ Church, where Scarborough, Keizer Hill, Waverley, Atkins Land, Abbey Gardens, Pegwell Gardens, Chancery Lane, Old Chancery Lane, Seaview Road, Inch Marlow, Ealing Park South, Breedy???s Land and the surrounding areas will be fogged.

The fogging unit will target St Michael on Thursday, December 3. Fogging will take place in Kensington New Road, Baxter???s Road, New Orleans with Avenues, Pickwick Gap with Avenues, Lakes Folly, Chapman Lane with Avenues, Mason Hall Street, Reed Street and neighbouring districts.

On Friday December 4, the fogging unit returns to St. Michael to spray Ellis Village, Halls Road, Belmont Road, Carrington Village, Tweedside Road, Welches Terrace, Bridge Road, Hindsbury Road, Nurse Land, Goddard Road and the environs.??All areas will be fogged between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day.

Residents are reminded to open all windows and doors to allow the fog to enter and circulate. Children should be prevented from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging vehicle.
