Persons who are unable to pay their last respects at the funeral service for former Member of Parliament, President of the National Organisation of Women and Barbados’ representative on key international bodies, Dame Maizie Barker-Welch, DBE, CHB, BCH, LLD (Hon), may view it on live stream.

The service of thanksgiving will take place at the Abundant Life Assembly, Bank Hall, St. Michael, on Friday, September 13, starting at 1:00 p.m. Tributes will begin from 12:15 p.m.
Dame Maizie will be laid to rest at Clifton Hill Moravian Church, St. Thomas.
Viewing of the body takes place at the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel of Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael, on Thursday, September 12, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Condolence books will be available for signing at Lyndhurst Funeral Home and on the day of the service.
Dame Maizie passed away on Wednesday, August 28, at the age of 96.
