Dendrologist at the National Botanical Gardens, Nigel Jones, will conduct a workshop entitled: Gardening Made Easy, tomorrow, Saturday, June 24, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Gardens’ Codrington, St. Michael location.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn about proper gardening techniques, garden management and maintenance, irrigation applications, fertilisation, pruning and pest and disease management.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of the Environment and Drainage, Daphne Kellman, will deliver remarks during the closing ceremony and award of certificates at 1:00 p.m.
The workshop forms part of the activities to mark Environment Month 2017 under the theme: Living Sustainably Is… Connecting People with Nature.
