The Archives Department, in collaboration with the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., will host a Genealogy Marketplace tomorrow, Saturday, November 25.
Persons interested in tracing their ancestral history and learning about genealogy will get an opportunity to do so at the Archives Department, Lazaretto, Black Rock, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The event will allow patrons to learn about the Bajan-Brazilian and African connection; Liberian and Guyanese roots; and partake in indigenous games. Local delicacies will be on sale and there will also be entertainment.
DNA kits will be on sale; however, one free DNA kit will be given away.
