Barbadians are answering the call to give support to the island’s isolation facilities.
The latest donation of two Hewlett-Packard Laser Jet printers was made to the Harrison Point Isolation Facility recently through a collaborative effort between the Central Veterinary Clinic and the Barbados Entrepreneurship & Tourism Association (BETA), which made a donation on a previous occasion.
The Central Veterinary Clinic was represented by Dr. Manoj Vensimal, while Dawne Pollard made the donation on behalf of BETA.
On accepting the printers, Dr. Rhea Corbin-Harte, who works at the Harrison Point facility, said the donation would aid in staff being able to effectively carry out their office duties.
“On behalf of all the staff who do admin work on a daily basis to keep the patient notes and information sorted and relevant, I’d like to say a hearty ‘Thank you’. This goes out to Dawne Pollard and her associates in BETA, as well as Dr. Manoj Vensimal and the team of Central Veterinary Clinic for the generous donation. Such a long-term gift will assist the facilities for months and years to come, and we are very thankful,” Dr. Corbin-Harte stated.
