The Erdiston Teachers’ Training College (ETTC) will host a special orientation ceremony for two inaugural programmes, in collaboration with the Teachers College and Columbia University (TCCU) of the USA.
The ceremony for the programmes Developing Teacher Efficacy in the Classroom Certificate and The Exploring Leadership Paradigms, Principles and Practices Certificate will be held on Monday, September 23, at 9:30 a.m., at the ETTC’s Lecture Theatre, Pine Hill, St. Michael.
Approximately 200 students will be participating in the orientation ceremony, and the speakers include Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Kay McConney; Principal of the Erdiston Teachers’ Training College, Dr. Colin Cumberbatch; Professor at the Teachers College and Columbia University, Professor Christopher Emdin; and Chairperson of the Board of Management of ETTC, Dr. Sylvia Henry.
