The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources, in collaboration with its contractors Infra Construction Limited, is advising the public that excavation works will be carried out along the Ermy Bourne Highway, in the Belleplaine, St. Andrew area, between the supermarket and the sand dunes.
These works will be carried out between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and are scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2023. During this time, the road will be converted to single-lane traffic.
Persons in and around these areas are asked to follow the instructions of traffic wardens and signs and plan travel routes accordingly.
The work is being done under the Road Rehabilitation and Improving Connectivity of Road Infrastructure project, which is funded by the Inter-American Development Bank.
