The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector will host an outreach programme for businesses in the Bridgetown area on Friday, February 23, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The outreach, which primarily targets beauty salons and barber shops in The City, aims to raise awareness about the National Workplace Wellness Policy.
A team of peer educators from the Ministry as well as the private sector will be collecting information and distributing materials to business places.
The group, led by Project Coordinator in the Ministry, Rhonda Farley, will also conduct a short survey on person’s HIV/AIDS awareness level.
