The Lands and Survey Department, of the Ministry of Housing, Lands and Maintenance, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, is currently conducting surveys in three parishes.

The surveys are being carried out until March 2024, and will cover several districts in St. Lucy, St. Joseph, and St. Thomas. The exercise is being conducted under the Public Sector Modernisation Programme entitled “National Digital Parcel Fabric Project”, and seeks to update the national map of land parcels.

As a result, officers from the Lands and Surveys Department and its agents may visit properties in these parishes to carry out the survey exercise, and members of the public are asked to cooperate with them. There will be no replacing of boundary marks, changing of existing boundaries, or establishing new boundaries as part of this project.

If persons have any queries, they should contact the Lands and Surveys Department at 536-5200 or 536-5217.
