The National Library Service (NLS) will host a two-part lecture on reparations for fourth to six form students from eight secondary schools.
Under the theme Reparations, Connecting the Past to the Present, the event will be held on Tuesday, October 15, at Frank Collymore Hall, Church Village, St. Michael, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Director of the NLS, Jennifer Yarde, will deliver welcome remarks, while the main lecturers will be CARICOM Ambassador, David Comissiong, and Principal of St. Leonard’s Boys’ School, Peter Cox.
There will be cultural presentations from The Most Honourable Anthony ‘Mighty Gabby’ Carter and The UWI Cave Hill Dance Ensemble.
