Health officials are pleased with the number of men who took advantage of the free prostate screening services which were available at the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Barbados Red Cross Society’s Men’s Wellness Day event, on February 3.
The Ministry thanks all of the men who received the Prostate Specific Antigen test and utilised the services, activities, and information offered.
Furthermore, those who were tested are advised that results will be returned via telephone or email between today, Tuesday, February 13, and Wednesday, February 21.
Both the Ministry of Health and the Barbados Red Cross are grateful to those organisations that participated in and contributed to the success of the event, which was held at the Barbados Red Cross Society, Warrens, St. Michael.
