The plight of two fishermen who have allegedly been arrested and charged for illegal fishing in Tobago waters is currently receiving the attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade which has been in contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to resolve the matter.?? The Ministry has also been in touch with the Barbadian boat owner and his representatives.?? The Trinidad authorities have responded to queries and have promised to provide further information on the matter.
