A total of 89 students from the St. John Primary School will be reassigned to the Mount Tabor Primary School from tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9.  Parents and guardians of 11 students have opted for a transfer to other schools. The Principal and all staff have also been reassigned.

The reassigned students will be allowed to continue wearing their St. John Primary School uniform at Mount Tabor. A new prefabricated building has been constructed at the Mount Tabor Primary to house two classrooms.

The Transport Board will provide a daily school bus, which will transport students from the Coach Hill, Colleton, and Gall Hill environs to Mount Tabor. The bus will leave the St. John Primary location at 8:30 a.m. and return to that location in the evenings. The crossing guard will remain at that location to assist with movement on mornings and evenings.

Meetings have been held with parents and guardians of students of St. John Primary and a successful orientation took place today, Monday, January 8, for those students now attending Mount Tabor Primary, as well as their parents.
