Active ageing and healthy living will be the focus of a Health & Safety Fair. to be hosted this Friday, September 13, by the National Assistance Board (NAB).

The NAB, which falls under the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, will host the event in the Queen’s Park Steel Shed, Queen’s Park, Constitution Road, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m.
The aim of the fair is to provide opportunities for community members to learn how to live safe and healthy lives.

Among the activities patrons can expect are line dancing, workouts for seniors, a fashion show and several health screenings including blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring. There will also be Tai Chi demonstrations, nutritional tips and discussions on crime prevention, and other activities.

Members of the public are invited to attend.
