The finals of the National Senior Games 2024 will be held from May 18 to 20, at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex at Black Rock, St. Michael.
This was revealed by Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey, earlier this week, following the re-opening of the National Assistance Board’s Lancaster House, at Lancaster, St. James.
While noting that the Games would coincide with Whit Sunday and Whit Monday, Minister Humphrey said special efforts would be made to enable the participation of competitors with disabilities.
“Overseas competitors will be invited to participate in the 20th iteration of the Senior Games for a bigger and better event for all Barbadians to enjoy,” he added.
The National Senior Games 2024 is expected to see competitors participating in 13 disciplines.
