The National Task Force on Wellness will resume its hikes on Saturday, November 12, with a hike from the St. George Parish Church, Glebe, St. George.  It starts at 6:15 a.m.

The hike is free of charge, and participants are advised to arrive by 5:45 a.m. to receive their ID wrist bands and any pre-hike announcements.

The route, which is approximately 11 kilometres, should take about two-and-a-half hours to complete. After moving off from the church, hikers will continue to Constant Plantation, through Ellerton and end at the St. George Parish Church.

Persons who are not sure of their physical fitness should consult with their medical doctor before participating since the hike is relatively long and will require some endurance.

Participants are advised to bring sufficient drinking water and healthy snacks to stay hydrated and energised. They are also required to wear suitable clothing to prevent scratches when going through bushy areas. Appropriate enclosed shoes that will not cause slipping are also recommended.
