Due to the passage of Tropical Storm Matthew, the Ministry of Tourism and International Transport has rescheduled some of the events for Tourism Week.

The Clean Bim beach clean-up will now take place on Wednesday, October 5, at Carlisle Bay, Bay Street, St. Michael, at 7:30 a.m. Additionally, the Atlantis Submarine School Tour has been postponed until Wednesday, October 5, at 10:00 p.m.

In addition, the public is asked to note that the I am Tourism School Tour at Deighton Griffith Secondary School will now be held on Friday, October 7, at 9:00 a.m.

The Tourism Fully Accessible Barbados Symposium will also now be held on Friday, October 7, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael, at 9:00 a.m.

The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience caused by the postponements, and encourages the public to support the various events.
