The National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) has advised that excavation work will be carried out on a number of roads in Christ Church and Bridgetown during the month of June, as part of the National Mains Replacement Project.

Work will be done on Maxwell Main Road, from the section of Top Rock to Dover Road, and Worthing Main Road, from the intersection with St. Lawrence Gap to the junction with Rendezvous Hill. The areas selected in Bridgetown are Probyn Street and Moles Alley.

The work will be carried out between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and may occasionally result in restricted road access.

Meanwhile, the NPC has advised that roads have been reinstated in Dover Terrace, 2nd Avenue Dover, 3rd Avenue Dover, Bath Village, Sandy Grounds and Paradise Village, Christ Church, and St. Leonard’s Avenue, St. Michael. Road reinstatement in Maxwell Terrace, Christ Church, and Licorish Village and Pickwick Gap, St. Michael, will continue in June.

The NPC has expressed its appreciation to members of the public for their patience.
