The National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) has advised that urgent maintenance work will be conducted in the area of Sandy Lane Hotel, Highway 1, St. James, from 11:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, to 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12.
As a result, the road will be reduced to single lane traffic from 6:00 p.m. Motorists are urged to exercise caution, or use an alternative route, if possible.
Additionally, there may be low to no gas pressure in Bennetts and surrounding areas during the period, and persons may experience a scent of gas.
