The Nursing Council of Barbados is reminding nurses that under the Nurses Act 2008-3 Section 19 (1), they are required to pay their registration or enrolment fee by Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
No fee is payable in respect of the registration or enrolment of persons who are employed on a full-time basis in the public service.
Fees should be paid to the Treasury Department, National Housing Corporation, Country Road, St. Michael. Failure to do so by the deadline, in accordance with Section 19 (4) and Section 20 of the said Act, will result in payment of fees which are twice the amount that is due at the renewal date.
Persons who fail to pay their registration or enrolment fees by January 31, will be treated as being unregistered.
