Pinelands Creative Workshop in collaboration with the Small Business Association of Barbados will host a four-day training programme from September 12 to 15, which aims to teach the youth how to be creative innovative thinkers.
Creative Innovative Thinkers in Business is the theme of the training, which will cater to young people between the ages of 15 and 35. It will be conducted at the Spirit Bond, Wharf Road, Bridgetown, St. Michael.
Chief Executive Officer of the Pinelands Creative Workshop, Sophia Greaves-Broome, said the workshops, which are free and open to the general public, seek to help young people learn how they can adapt their business ideas in the ever-changing business environment.
“This learning experience will allow Pinelands Creative Workshop to share new models, systems and alternative thinking that will unleash their creativity and spark new innovative approaches that will broaden their mindsets and perspectives as well as set their businesses apart from their competitors, especially in a competitive environment,” she explained.
Mrs. Greaves-Broome added that the goal of Creative Innovative Thinkers in Business is to help young persons become more innovative in their businesses.
“Over the four-day training workshop, we want the participants to be eager to learn and openly welcome the new knowledge that would be imparted to them as it would assist them in adapting their businesses to the changing business environment. Moreover, Pinelands Creative Workshop hopes that the participants leave the training workshops having competitive advantages whilst being a socially responsible and sustainable business,” she stated.
