Members of the public are encouraged to gather at the Church Village Green, Central Bank of Barbados, Spry Street, Bridgetown, tomorrow, Saturday, May 25, for a pop-up health and variety fair.

It will be hosted by the Co-operatives Department of the Ministry of Energy and Business, in association with several health organisations, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During the day, Women Entrepreneurs, Emerging Brands, Pinnacle, Unified Trust and Pig Farmers Co-operatives, among others, will offer goods and services, including various types of jewellery, art and craft pieces, custom-made bags, clothing, and women’s accessories. Manicures and pedicures will also be available at the fair.

There will be complimentary blood pressure testing and screening by the Diabetes and Hypertension Association of Barbados, while the Barbados Kidney Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados will give advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and share information on their services.            

Entertainment will be available during the day.
