Road rehabilitation will begin on Monday, September 9, 2024, on Prior Park Road in St James.
A team from C.O. Williams Construction will carry out the work Mondays to Fridays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Excavation will start from the Prior Park Roundabout and progress toward Queens College.
Local and emergency access will be permitted. However, road users are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid delays as traffic will be reduced to a single lane. Signage will be in place and directions will be given by flag persons. Motorists are urged to proceed through the construction zone with extreme caution.
The rehabilitation of Prior Park Road is being done under the CAF Programme, which is funded by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.
