Members of the public are encouraged to attend the Energy Local Content Share Fair, which will be held until Wednesday, September 28, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (LESC), from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., daily.
Persons will have an opportunity to tour the various booths on display, which are showcasing projects in the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. They will also be able to interact with the various stakeholders.
Some of the ventures the public will learn about are: The Natural Gas Energy and Bridging Projects; ECO Industrial Parks; the Sustainable Energy Investment Programme (Smart Fund 2), and the ‘Renewstable’ Barbados Photovoltaic Hydrogen Power Project.
In addition, they will hear about some of the loan products and services which are available in energy.
