The Constitutional Reform Commission will be hosting another public meeting on Sunday, October 30, at the Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, St. Peter, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Chairman of the Constitutional Reform Commission, Mr. Justice (Retd) Christopher Blackman, is encouraging the public to attend the meeting and have their say in the shaping of the new Constitution.

Justice Blackman said the Commission had already received some valuable ideas from those participating in the first meeting and the members were looking forward to additional suggestions.

“Everyone should feel free to come and have their say, as their participation is important, valuable and necessary,” he stressed.

Persons may also submit their ideas, comments and suggestions by emailing constitutionalreform@barbados.gov.bb, or by mail, in care of the Director General – Governance, 2nd Floor, E. Humphrey Walcott Building, corner of Culloden Road and Collymore Rock, St. Michael. They may also call the hotline number for the Constitutional Reform Commission, which is 536-1250.
