Persons may register online for the Ministry of Energy and Business’ three-day Energy Local Content Capacity Building Workshop, which will commence tomorrow, Tuesday, February 7.
To register, persons should visit the Ministry’s website and then click on Capacity Building Workshop. After registering, participants should call Economist in the Ministry of Energy and Business, Alton Best, at 535-2555 or 823-2071, to confirm attendance online, or in-person at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
The Barbados Energy Local Content Development Project aims to gradually increase access to and participation of local vendors and businesses in the energy industry.
During the workshop, there will be discussions among local suppliers of goods and services, manufacturers, international energy companies, other project owners and major contractors.
The sessions will provide the platform for locals to share in the content experiences of suppliers in Trinidad and Tobago to help them understand and deal with any challenges for a successful outcome, especially in building capacity.
