Persons who work with the elderly and want to give an input on how Barbados can make the lives of these seniors better, are reminded that they can do so at the national consultation on Friday, September 16, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael. It gets under way at 9:00 a.m.

Stakeholders can share their opinions on The 2023 to 2028 National Policy on Ageing for Barbados during the discussion being led by the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs. Persons may review the full document of the first draft of the policy, or the summarised version, by clicking here.

The policy, under the theme: Making healthy and active ageing a reality for all, was done in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization.
