Motorists are reminded that Stoney Gully Road in St. Thomas is closed to vehicular traffic. As a result, motorists coming from Dukes Road are asked to use the alternate route through Highland to exit by the St. Thomas Post Office.

Persons are also urged to avoid removing blockages as well as ‘road closed’ and ‘divert’ signs installed by the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources to alert road users that Stoney Gully Road is closed. Motorists are further reminded to reduce speed when approaching and traversing the diversion zone.

Rock bluff in Stoney Gully has been excavated to widen and realign the road, and construction of a footpath and retaining wall are to be completed.
