Members of the public are encouraged to attend the Investing in Renewable Energy Community Engagement Series of meetings, which will begin on Wednesday, October 5, at the Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, St. Peter, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

On Sunday, October 9, another meeting will be held at Checker Hall Salvation Army, St. Lucy, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A session will also be held on Wednesday, October 12, at Queen’s College, Husbands, St. James, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Additional meetings will be held in Christ Church, St. George, St. Philip and St. Michael, and those dates and locations will be announced shortly.

Householders will hear how they can reduce their electricity bill, earn additional income, and find out how some Barbadians have benefited from investing in renewable energy, among other things.

In addition, there will be presentations from service providers and experts in the industry, as well as from the Minister of Energy and Business, Kerrie Symmonds, and Minister of State in Foreign Trade and Energy, Sandra Husbands.
