The Electoral and Boundaries Commission (EBC) advises that under the Barbados Identity Management Act, there is a fee of $60.00 for the replacement of the Trident Identification (ID) card.
This will apply under the following circumstances:
- where there is a change in any information printed on the card;
- where the personal appearance has changed significantly from that reflected in the photograph on the card, and
- where the Identification card is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, tampered with or defaced.
Registrants are required to visit the Office at Warrens Tower II, to apply for the replacement Identification card, and may also visit the website www.electoral.barbados.gov.bb to see the circumstances under which exemptions, from payment of the fee, are permitted.
