The Scotland District Road Rehabilitation Project is being carried out by the China National Complete Plant Import Export Corporation (COMPLANT). The company is currently working on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, Works & Water Resources (MTWW), in an effort to restore and reinforce a number of roads.

The area of Glenburnie, St. John, has been earmarked for restoration. Therefore, a geotechnical survey will have to be carried out before the start of the works, to determine ground conditions and soil composition in the district.

As a result, the access road that leads to the entrance of the Glenburnie community will be closed on Thursday, September 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to facilitate the testing. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated if required.

The COMPLANT team apologises for any inconvenience caused and looks forward to the cooperation of the residents of Glenburnie and the general public.
