The Rotary Club of Barbados West has opened scholarship applications to Barbadian students for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Applicants must be between ages 16 and 20, and must have matriculated at a university for the 2024/2025 academic year. 

The scholarship, which is exclusively for study at a Caribbean university, takes the form of an educational grant of BDS$5,000 per year, for the duration of the course of study.

Special consideration will be given to areas of study which are considered essential to the development of Barbados.

Persons applying for the award must show evidence of good academic performance and proof of financial need.

Application forms may be obtained from the Tertiary Sectionof the Ministry of Education, Technological & Vocational Training, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, Monday to Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or online at www.mes.gov.bb.

Completed forms must be submitted by Monday, August 26, 2024.
