Owners of fishing vessels are advised that access to Port St. Charles is allowed for safe harbour, from 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, as Barbados prepares for the impact of a tropical wave, which is expected to affect the island on the said date.
Chief Fisheries Officer, Dr. Shelly-Ann Cox, reminds boat owners that vessels should have adequate rope and fenders to ensure their safety. Vessel owners are asked to present their insurance documents, if available, on arrival at Port St. Charles.
