Teachers’ Professional Day will be observed this Friday, October 20, and all schools will be closed.
However, the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has encouraged the management of schools to organise activities for the professional development of staff and the advancement of their institutions.
The day is part of the activities to mark Education Month 2023, which is being celebrated this year under the theme A Bright Future For Every Child. School re-opens on Monday, October 23.
