The Barbados Agricultural Management Company Limited (BAMC) is seeking persons to harvest West Indian Sea Island Cotton.

BAMC’s Agronomist, Nyah Nyhathu, indicated that for the month of March “more workers are needed to harvest cotton”.

Harvesting will take place at Searles Farm, Newton, Christ Church. The fields are open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Cotton pickers are advised that harvesting attire must comprise the following: long sleeves, long pants, headgear (hat, scarf, head tie), and fully enclosed shoes. They should also travel with an umbrella and water.

Pickup of individuals would be organised by farm management. For further information, interested persons should call the BAMC area office at 437-5465, 423-7329, or 422-2809.
