The Learning and Development Directorate (LDD), Ministry of the Public Service, has issued a second call for applications for the Spanish as a Foreign Language Course for Civil Servants from the English-speaking Caribbean.

The online course, which runs from Monday, April 15, to Friday, June 28, will be offered at beginners and advanced levels and will be facilitated by the Embassy of Chile.

Individuals may be required to a complete a diagnostic assessment to determine their level of proficiency.

Completed applications must be sent to the Embassy of Chile at echilett@minrel.gob.cl,  indicating Spanish Course for Civil Servants in the subject line and copied to the LDD at ld@mps.gov.bb. The deadline for the receipt of applications is Thursday, February 29.

Additionally, the Application Form (Annex 1) must be filled out, signed, and stamped by a high authority of the institution, while the applicant must complete and sign the rest of the annexes.

Annex 3 must be sent with the application since the applicant is required to have the authorisation of the institution where he/she works.

In addition, applications received by the closing date of the first call on December 28, 2023 will be considered in the second round.
