A section of Highway 5 from the junction of Edgerton Road, St. George, to the Boarded Hall Roundabout, Christ Church, will undergo pothole patching today, Thursday, October 3; Friday, October 4; and Saturday, October 5.

C.O Williams Construction Ltd, in association with the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW), will begin patching that section of road from 7:00 p.m. today until 6:00 a.m. on Friday. Work will continue on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude on Saturday at 6:00 a.m.

As a result, the road will be closed for the duration of the work and motorists are asked to divert at Edgerton Road, through St. David’s and Edey Village and on to Boarded Hall.

Those coming from the direction of Bridgetown can divert at Boarded Hall, through Edey Village and St. David’s and on to Edgerton Road. Motorists are also asked to follow the directions of the flag personnel and diversion signs.
